Q: I have never had poison ivy before, but I have a horrible blistery rash on my face, arms, and side...I just wanted some info from people who have possibly had it before, some of the spots are dry and crusty (they almost look like I have burns) but they still ooze occasionally, it is really itchy..does this sound like poison ivy? There are a few new spots that have popped up over the last few days, I threw up yesterday and I have a fever.
A: Usually doesn't cause a fever or vomitting. You should go see a doctor. Even if it is bad poison ivy, you can get a prescription for Prednisone that iwll take it away quickly. But please, see a doctor. Sounds to me more like chicken pox. How does it feel when taking a hot shower?
