Q: I recently got laid off and I can not afford the COBRA insurance coverage. I have a kid who is 9 months old. Can we go to the country hosptial or any other government facility?
A: try healthy families (AIM) they have a web site. Government assisted program you still have to pay around 12 dollars though. Or try medical. If not go to the hospital and they have a payment option.
