Q: I have had this problem for a few years now, it only comes to my attention when it happens, I then just forget about it. Every time I try to lift something heavy or put a lot of strain on my neck a muscle in the left side of my neck locks up and creates a pretty severe cramp, it puts me in a big state of discomfort and embarrassment as I jeer my head forward and left to try to compensate for the pain. The cramp lasts about 5-10 seconds. Does anyone else get these kind of cramps? And is there anything I can do to stop them from happening?

A: I don't recommend chiropractors often, but in your case, I think a chiropractor could really help you. Tell him exactly what you wrote in your question, and he'll know exactly what you do. Good luck! :)
